205L Drum Cover

The EOS 205L drum cover is a tight fitting lid that prevents rain and debris from settling on the top of the drum.

What does it do?

Drums of insulating oil stored upright will be subject to breathing as ambient conditions change. Any water, lying on the top of the drum will be drawn into the oil with devastating consequences to the oil’s breakdown voltage.

The EOS 205L drum cover is a tight fitting lid that will not dislodge in windy conditions and prevents rain and debris from settling on the top of the drum.

 

Things to remember

The EOS Drum Cover should not be used as a long-term (more than a few days) alternative to correct drum storage. For guidance on the correct storage of insulating oil in 205L drums click go to our FAQ page.
